I don't quite understand exactly what the EU is. Is it an economic organization, or is it a government?

My understanding is that membership in EU is showing dependency on ECB which means dictation of resources cost. Then there is obligation on EU export/import strategy and other obligations.

At the end - in reality means that rich country can buy small countries. (most of my country [industry] is owned by Germany, without having any german soldiers there. Most of resources we must buy via Germany even if produced locally).

Beside big one (no cooperation during that "pandemia") there are small failes like e.g. discussion about Summer-time-shift.

This is why I am looking forward to see UK. Recent years also showed to me that even if any country can initiate leaving procedure, is not so simple (seeing big player, UK).

Imagine you need SAP consultancy, related to local law, the best local lang. You can have it for 600 EUR, but you have to buy it via .de mother company for 1000 EUR, which bought it from Prague for these 600.

just example

So who /forces/ you to go through the mother company here? Is it EU law (if so: which one?), or rather the company itself? I'd expect the EU to guarantee "freedom to provide services", so this can only be a restriction imposed by the company itself?

Apart from that, I'd always try to avoid SAP...

covid-19

but if you wishlist:

1: this is best of eu as it is, euro follows dkk so we do not loose anything here
2: goverment is just out of order in england :)

for number 2 uk should not had allowed so small numbers between yes or no to be legal election, if uk would have done it more secure it would be 60% needed for yes we would like to go out of eu, the scarry 50% now wants to stay ?

is there room for rethinking ?
